Privacy Policy

1. Core Privacy Principle: Zero Server Uploads

ApplyReady (https://applyready.in) is engineered to process your documents, images, and resumes entirely on your client device (laptop, phone, or tablet).

When you select an image file to resize or type your career history into the resume builder, that data remains strictly inside your web browser’s memory space. We do not transmit, upload, process, store, or view your uploaded images or resume content on any external web server.

2. Local Storage & Draft Persistence

In the Resume Builder, an optional feature allows you to “Save draft on this device.”

  • How it works: If you explicitly enable this checkbox, your resume data is written to your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that you can resume your session after closing the browser tab.
  • Where it lives: This data lives solely inside your local browser storage. It is never synchronized to the cloud or transferred across devices.
  • Shared Devices: If you are using a shared computer, cyber cafe kiosk, or public terminal, you should keep local saving disabled or click the “Delete Draft” button before closing your session.
  • JSON Backups: If you use the “Backup (JSON)” action, the resulting file is saved directly to your local file downloads.

3. Third-Party CDNs & External Resources

To maintain high reliability and fast delivery without heavy bundle sizes, ApplyReady loads select open-source libraries from public Content Delivery Networks (CDNs):

  • Google Fonts: Loads the Inter font family. Google may collect standard HTTP request telemetry (such as IP address and user-agent) when fonts are requested.
  • Cloudflare CDNJS: Delivers Cropper.js and Font Awesome icons. Standard CDN access logs apply.
  • Razorpay: If you click the voluntary “Buy me a Chai” link, you will be navigated to Razorpay’s official payment portal (razorpay.me/@nbsumit). All payment transactions and data collection on that domain are governed by Razorpay’s respective Privacy Policy.

4. Cookies & Web Tracking

ApplyReady does not use third-party marketing cookies, user profiling beacons, or advertising trackers. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your personal information or document contents.
